CIA Barwala and HTM Police Station teams traced the accused with the help of technical evidence

Hisar: Hisar Police have achieved a significant breakthrough under their ongoing special campaign against crime by arresting three accused in a case involving the murder of a man and disposal of his body.

The arrested accused have been identified as Ashwani, son of Surender Kumar, a resident of Jeetgarh, Jind district; Lakshya, son of Vijay Kumar; and Rohit, son of Suresh Kumar, both residents of Ugalan, Hisar district.

Providing details, the HTM Police Station in-charge said that on September 14, 2026, Chandra Mohan, son of Shridhar and a resident of Vinod Nagar, Gali No. 1, Mil Gate, Hisar, filed a complaint reporting that his son Jatin had gone missing from his home. Following the complaint, a missing-person case was registered at HTM Police Station under Section 127(6) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and an investigation was initiated.

He said that on September 16, 2026, the body of missing Jatin was recovered from the Data-Gurana Minor. Police conducted the post-mortem examination as per procedure. During the examination, a fracture was found in the victim’s neck. As the circumstances appeared suspicious, police took the matter seriously and began investigating the possibility of murder.

A joint team of CIA Barwala and HTM Police Station, with assistance from the Cyber Cell, traced the accused based on technical evidence, information gathered from various sources and an extensive investigation. Three accused have so far been arrested in connection with the case.

The HTM Police Station in-charge said that the arrested accused will be taken on police remand for detailed interrogation. During questioning, police will seek information regarding the motive behind the murder, the means used in the crime and the role of other individuals who may have been involved in disposing of the body. If any other accused are found to be involved in the case, they will also be arrested as per law.

The Superintendent of Police, Hisar, said that no person involved in a serious crime such as murder would be allowed to escape the law. Hisar Police are conducting detailed investigations into serious crimes and tracing suspects with the help of technical and scientific evidence. The role of every individual involved in the crime will be investigated and strict legal action will be taken as per the law.

Hisar Police reiterated that criminals cannot escape the law and technical evidence, regardless of the methods they use to conceal their crimes.
