Hisar: Kulbir Sohal, who has been appointed State General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Minority Morcha in Haryana, thanked the party leadership for entrusting him with the responsibility and pledged to work towards strengthening the organisation across the state.

Sohal expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, State BJP President Dr Archana Gupta, former Rajya Sabha MP Kiran Choudhry, Cabinet Minister Shruti Choudhry and, particularly, Minority Morcha State President Dr Avneet Singh Waraich for his appointment.

He said he would discharge his new responsibilities with complete sincerity, honesty and dedication. Highlighting the work being undertaken under Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini’s leadership, Sohal said he would coordinate with party leaders and workers to strengthen the organisation. He added that he would carry out every responsibility assigned by the state leadership with full commitment.

Sohal Targets Congress Over Internal Differences

Taking aim at the Congress, Sohal alleged that the opposition party was unable to accept the achievements of the BJP government and was repeatedly raising allegations of vote theft. Questioning the Congress’s stand, he asked how the party’s MPs and MLAs had been elected if electoral irregularities had taken place in Haryana.

He further claimed that Congress was struggling with factionalism and internal organisational divisions. Describing it as a party dominated by a father-son leadership structure, Sohal alleged that infighting had persisted within the organisation and that its leaders remained caught up in internal disputes, with little unity over leadership.

Praises Bansi Lal’s Contribution to Haryana

Sohal also remembered former Haryana Chief Minister Chaudhary Bansi Lal, describing him as a visionary leader who made significant contributions to the state’s development.

He referred to the work of former minister Kiran Choudhry and said Cabinet Minister Shruti Choudhry was continuing efforts to accelerate development in Haryana. According to Sohal, Shruti Choudhry was working for the progress of all 36 communities and addressing issues affecting the region.
