Ayodhya: The police conducted raids at the premises of eight accused individuals involved in the Ram Mandir donation theft case. During the operation, significant recoveries, including jewelry and important documents, were made from the residence of an accused named Tinnu.
Police raided the homes of all eight accused on Sunday. Tinnu Yadav's and others house was searched. From Tinnu's house, police found jewelry and documents. They also found the cash and property papers were recovered. Police took statements from the families of all the accused.
Police will assess everything they found by evening. Tonight they will decide whether to seek police remand for the accused tomorrow. On Sunday morning police teams went to homes and brought court officials with them. They talked to family members first and then entered the houses. Tinnu Yadav's house was searched. Along with him, the homes of Ramshankar Mishra, Anukalp Mishra, Avinash Shukla and Manish Yadav were also investigated. Police teams worked at different locations at the same time.
The Circle Officer Ashutosh Tiwari said that the investigation is ongoing. He also added that the action is being taken against all accused involved.
A neighbor of Anukalp Mishra, named Krishnanand Tiwari spoke to the press. He said that the guilty should get strict punishment. They stole from donations and cheated God. They cheated crores of Ram devotees that is a very shameful act. There is no forgiveness for this. About Anukalp, he said he knew him for five or six months. Anukalp held religious ceremonies at his house. He invited neighbors and his behavior looked normal. But criminals don't tell people they are criminals. Another neighbor named Anurag Mishra said he has known Anukalp for almost a year. Nothing looked suspicious as he had good manners. But we cannot know what is inside a person. The donation theft case is under investigation.
