BJP MLA Rajesh Chaudhary Receives Threat from Pakistani Number, Complaint Registered

Mathura: A case has come to light where Rajesh Chaudhary, the BJP MLA from the Mant assembly constituency and the party's state general secretary, allegedly received threatening calls from a Pakistani number. The MLA has lodged a complaint with the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), seeking the registration of a case and requesting security for himself and his family. Acting on the complaint, the police have registered a case and initiated an investigation.

According to the MLA, he received a call on his mobile phone from a Pakistani number around 10:38 PM on September 28. The caller allegedly warned him to stop making statements against Muslims. It is alleged that the caller, identifying himself as someone speaking from Pakistan, threatened to "take care of" the MLA through his associates present in India. Subsequently, another call was received from the same number around 2:17 AM.

According to the complaint, the second call also contained threats to harm the MLA and his family. The caller allegedly claimed to be associated with the banned terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba. However, the identity of the caller and the veracity of his claims will only become clear after a police investigation.

In his written complaint to the police, Rajesh Chaudhary stated that he had received similar calls from Pakistani numbers in the past as well. At the time, he had not taken them seriously, but now, following repeated threats, he has deemed the matter serious and demanded police action. The SSP stated that a case has been registered and an investigation is underway.
