Lucknow: Prateek Yadav, the younger son of former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister prominent Samajwadi Party leader Mulayam Singh Yadav, passed away early Wednesday morning. His last rites will be performed on Thursday at Baikunth Dham (Bhaisakund) in Lucknow. At 11:30 AM, his funeral procession commenced from the SP office and proceeded towards the Baikunth Dham cremation ground. Family members—including his sister-in-law Dimple Yadav and uncle Shivpal Yadav—are present alongside Prateek's wife, Aparna Yadav, during this hour of grief. Prateek's demise at the age of 38 has sent a wave of sorrow through the Samajwadi Party.
