Uttar Pradesh: Woman enraged at lover's marriage; lures him to field, Cuts Off His Private Part

Shahabad: A sensational case involving a love affair has come to light within the jurisdiction of the Pali police station. Upset over her lover's marriage, a woman lured him to a field under the pretext of meeting him. She then attacked his private parts with a blade. The young man was rushed in critical condition to the Community Health Center (CHC) in Shahabad. After receiving first aid there, he was referred to the District Hospital.

What is the case?

Sudhir, a 20-year-old resident of Gujri village within the Pali police station area, stated that his marriage had taken place on May 6 in the village of Jasmai Khilauna. It is reported that Sudhir and the accused woman had been involved in a romantic relationship for approximately four years. Upon learning of his marriage, the woman had been harboring resentment toward him.

What led to the incident?

On Saturday afternoon, the woman summoned Sudhir to a field in Kuraili village to meet. It is alleged that an altercation ensued between the two at the location. During the argument, the woman reportedly pulled out a blade and attacked the young man's private parts, leaving him critically injured. Following the incident, the accused woman fled the scene. Hearing his cries for help, people working in nearby fields rushed to the spot. The young man's friends hurriedly transported him to the Shahabad CHC. Due to the severity of his condition, doctors referred him to the District Hospital. Upon receiving information about the incident, the police arrived at the scene and initiated an investigation. It has been revealed that the accused woman is related to the young man as his sister-in-law (brother's wife). Her marital home is located in the Sawayazpur area. The local police have stated that further action will be taken once a formal written complaint is received.
