New Delhi: In today's era, online payment has become an everyday necessity. Most people do not depend on a single UPI app. Sometimes payment is made through Paytm and sometimes through PhonePe or Google Pay. In such a situation, at the end of the month it becomes difficult to find out from which app when and how much payment was made. Opening different apps and viewing transaction history are also very time-consuming tasks.
However, there is a way through which information about payments made through different UPI apps can be seen in one place. For this, the facility of NPCI linked to UPI is used. According to the given method, this process can be completed from mobile only.
This process has to be started from the Paytm app. First of all, open Paytm in mobile and tap on your profile photo. After this, go to the option of UPI and Payment Settings. Here, on scrolling down, the option of UPI Help will appear. You will have to proceed by tapping on this.
After going to UPI Help, the related NPCI page will open through the browser. Here the user has to enter his UPI ID or registered mobile number. After this the captcha visible on the screen will have to be filled. To proceed with the process, verification will have to be completed by entering the OTP received on the mobile number.
After completion of verification, you will have to select the option of transaction history. After this the user will be asked for the last four digits of the bank account. After entering the bank account information, you have to click on Continue. The information given here will be verified.
As per the given process, after completion of verification, information about payments made through different UPI apps can be seen in one place. This can be beneficial for those people who use more than one UPI app and want to keep track of their digital payments at the end of the month.
For people who use more than one UPI app, checking the history of different apps can be a troublesome task. Having all transaction information in one place can make it easier to view a record of payments made during the month. This can also help in keeping track of expenses and retracing a particular transaction.
It is important to take care of security in any process related to UPI transaction. OTP, UPI PIN or banking password should not be shared with anyone. Before opening any link, it is important to ensure that it comes from an official and trustworthy source. The method mentioned above suggests entering the last four digits of the bank account, so while filling the information, confirm with the official page only.
