'Money Rain' in UP: Monkey Snatches Rs 2 Lakh Bag, Showers Notes From Tree In Bulandshahr

Bulandshahr: A shocking video is currently going viral on social media. A monkey's unexpected trouble at a court complex in Uttar Pradesh's Bulandshahr turned into a viral moment after it snatched a bag containing Rs 2 lakh in cash,  later climbed a tree with it and began scattering money from the treetop. 

Where did the incident happen?

The incident happened outside the premises of the Bulandshahr district court on Kachari Road. The scene unfolded after a monkey approached him and stole a bag containing Rs 2 lakh from an lawyer, who was standing outside the advocate's chambers, to finalise a property registration and purchase stamp papers. 

What is there in the video?

In the viral video, monkey can be seen raining money from the neem tree and the people standing below are collecting the notes from the ground. Passers-by began pocketing some of the notes, with the lawyer pleading with them to return the money.

A 53-second video of this incident is now rapidly going viral on social media. 

What did the owner do?

It is reported that the lawyer raised an alarm during the incident, prompting locals to assist him. After considerable effort, approximately Rs 1.98 lakh of the Rs 2 lakh was recovered.
