'Real-Life Vampire'? US Woman Claims She Drinks a Litre of Blood Every Day

During a show, the 30-year-old woman, Michelle, expressed that she is addicted to blood and does not feel good without having it.

California: It is common to have different and strange habits but drinking blood is too much. A 30-year-old woman has admitted that she is addicted to drinking blood. The woman from Lancaster, California, who is identified as Michelle has been drinking the blood of a pig since she was a teenager. 

Does the woman really drinks blood?

During a show, the 30-year-old woman expressed that she is addicted to blood and does not feel good without having it. 

"For me, blood is equally important as water." She further said, “I like to drink blood while reading, relaxing, watching TV, or painting. There’s never a bad time for me to have some". 

While sharing about her addiction, the 30-year-old tattoo artist said that she sometimes drinks it straight from a glass or mixes it in her meals.

Every morning, she mixes blood with her coffee. Michelle says that not all blood is the same. 

How much blood does Michelle consume?

Michelle also claimed that she get irritable if her favorite drink isn't on hand and said that she consume about a liter of blood per day to satisfy her cravings, that makes for nearly 1,000 gallons over the last 10 years.

While talking about what she prefers, Michelle said that "I prefer pig's blood to beef blood, because I prefer the gaminess. It's a little bit more salty than the beef blood. The consistency is like that of wine. It's just slightly thicker."

Does it feel comforting to Michelle?

Rather than finding the taste repulsive she considers it comforting, saying, " When I feel it going down my throat, it's like having a cold and drinking a hot toddy."

"I get irritable without it, I get angry, I don't want to leave my house - I want my blood."

"I don’t label myself as a vampire. I’m just someone who likes blood." Michelle said that her addiction began during her teenage years while struggling with depression.
