Mumbai: After massive success of 'Dhurandhar 2', is Pakistani police really searching for Indian spies in Lyari? Several videos are now going viral in which authorities can be seen randomly checking on the streets. Following the movie's release, according to reports, Pakistani police are on high alert and actively searching for potential Indian operatives.

What is there in the video?

In one of the video, that are doing rounds in the internet, a group of police personnel can be seen stopping people on the road. 

In another clip, police officers are seen approaching an elderly man sleeping on a roadside and pulling away his blanket. Later, the officers are questioning him about his identity and whereabouts. 

The videos are all over in the internet and connects with the film release, which is reportedly not released in Pakistan.

What is the reality of the video?

According to reports, the videos are not recent. As per Grok, the video is not recent and has no connection to the film 'Dhurandhar 2'. The clip are believed to be from an earlier Karachi Police operation, likely in the Lyari area, and was originally shared by an Instagram creator.

As per the reports, the clips had been circulating since mid-2025, showing routine checks and local policing activity rather than any targeted search linked to the film or alleged spy concerns.

The viral videos aren't inspired by Dhurandhar. However, internet users have connected the dots to create a story that doesn't actually exist. 

What is the film about?

The spy-action thriller, led by Ranveer Singh, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun, drew large crowds in the theatres.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, the franchise reveals the origin of Hamza Ali Mazari, aka Jaskirat Singh Rangi, which is played by Ranveer Singh, and also shows the backstory, while explaining the motivation. The film will explain the reason how Jaskirat turned into Hamza and will also reveal who is bade sahab.
