Trending News:Due to a technical fault in an Air India Express flight, passengers had to face unbearable heat in the middle of the sky. Passengers were drenched in sweat for about two hours due to the failure of the air conditioning system in flight number IX-1128 going from Delhi to Bhubaneswar. Information about this incident was shared on social media by a passenger Tusharkant Raut, which is now going viral rapidly.

AC stopped working after take-off, condition of passengers deteriorated

Tusharkant Raut, who is a resident of Gurugram, shared this experience on LinkedIn and told that the flight took off from Delhi at 3:55 pm. Shortly after take-off, the air conditioning system stopped working. According to Raut, there was severe heat in the flight for two hours, due to which many passengers fell ill. One passenger was so troubled that the crew members had to give immediate first aid.

Trouble seen in pictures, anger erupted on social media

Tusharkant also shared some pictures from inside the flight, in which passengers are seen sweating and visibly upset. He wrote, "AC was not working at all and the temperature inside the flight was constantly rising. This situation was extremely critical." Hundreds of people commented on his post and questioned the airline's arrangements.

Airline gave clarification, but questions remain

After the incident went viral, Air India Express has apologized while reacting to it. The airline spokesperson said that during taxiing and boarding, when the doors are open and power supply is limited, the effect of AC may be reduced. But after take-off it starts working completely. However, the experiences of the passengers do not match this, because according to them the heat remained in the flight even long after take-off.

Why was there no check before the flight? Passengers' questions

After this incident on social media, many users have raised questions on the functioning of Air India Express. One user wrote, “Is there no technical check before flight take-off?” Another user shared his previous travel experience and said that the food in his flight was cold and the crew staff did not pay heed to his complaint.

Questions raised again on passenger safety and facilities

This incident is again giving rise to a debate in the Indian aviation industry about passenger safety and basic facilities. If the technical flaws are not taken care of in time, it can put the lives of passengers at risk. Air India Express is now expected to not only apologize but also take concrete steps to prevent recurrence of such incidents.
