Assam: As the Assam Assembly Elections are nearing, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started the rally in the poll bound state. Addressing a rally in Gogamukh, PM Modi said, BJP will make hat-trick in Assam elections with people's blessings. PM Modi is on a day-long visit to the state to address two campaign rallies for BJP candidates.

Addressing the rally, PM Modi said, ''Assam has seen rapid development over the past decade. The people are ready to reaffirm their faith in the BJP-NDA. Watch from Gogamukh.''

Further PM Modi addressing the rally said, "Assam has never lacked resources. However, for the sake of power, the Congress divided Assamese society and never allowed the two banks of the Brahmaputra to truly connect. In 60–65 years, Congress built only three bridges over the Brahmaputra, just three in all that time. Due to the lack of bridges, many lives were lost, and generations had to endure great hardship. The double-engine government understood this pain and difficulty, and in just 10–11 years, it has completed five major bridges over the Brahmaputra."

"Form a BJP government once again. Assam will witness even greater development. This is Modi’s guarantee to his own people," said PM Modi.

Ahead of starting the rally, PM Modi also visited a tea garden in Dibrugarh district in poll-bound Assam on Wednesday and plucked leaves. He also interacted with women workers at Manohari Tea estate.

''We are very proud of the efforts of each and every tea garden family. Their hard work and perseverance have enhanced Assam’s pride," PM Modi posted on X.
