PM Modi Assam Visit: Congress has given encouragement to Pakistan

Barpeta: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently in Assam’s Barpeta as part of the election campaign. Addressing a massive public rally in Assam’s Barpeta, PM Modi stated that there are a strong chances of third consecutive victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance in the state. Meanwhile, he also criticized the Indian National Congress. PM Modi also accused the Congress of maintaining links with Pakistan’s narrative.

What did PM Modi say about Pakistan connection of Congress leaders? 

Ahead of the Assembly polls on April 9, addressing an election rally in Assam’s Barpeta, PM Modi said, “Congress has given encouragement to Pakistan. During ‘Operation Sindoor’, Congress echoed the same narrative that Pakistan was pushing. This Pakistan connection of Congress leaders has always existed."

Taking to X, PM Modi wrote, ''In the past 10 years, it has been dedicated to preserving Assam's identity. Today, we need to establish this identity on the global stage.''

During the election rally in Assam, PM Modi targeting Congress said, ''For the sake of peace and development, it is extremely necessary to keep Congress out of Assam.'' PM Modi also alleged that 'Congress allowed intruders to seize even the land of our sacred session. The BJP-NDA is liberating Assam from every such illegal occupation.'

Immense craze among people for PM Modi during the rally was witnessed. Sharing same, PM Modi posted on X, ''Euphoric atmosphere at the rally in Barpeta. There is immense enthusiasm among the people of Assam for the BJP-NDA.''

He added, ''This massive public gathering in Barpeta has proven that the Congress's century of defeat is coming to an end!''
