Kolkata: After BJP's spectacular victory in the West Bengal Assembly elections, now only one question is being asked everywhere: Who will become the next Chief Minister of the state. The political turmoil has intensified since the election results came out. There are continuous meetings going on inside the party and a lot of enthusiasm is being seen among the supporters also.
An important meeting of the BJP legislature party is going to be held in Kolkata on Friday. It is believed that in this meeting a new leader will be elected and the final decision will be taken in the name of the chief minister. Home Minister Amit Shah will also attend this meeting.
Suvendu's move, which changed the entire politics. Right now, only one name is being discussed the most in Bengal politics—Suvendu Adhikari. And why not? The work that no one could do in the last one and a half decade, Suvendu did it this time. Defeated Mamata Banerjee from her own seat Bhawanipur by a margin of 15,105 votes. This is not a small thing. Defeating Mamata Banerjee whose political hold was considered like a rock in Bengal—in her own house—is Suvendu's biggest political victory.
In the wave that arose against the 15 years in power for the BJP, for the first time, it drew the complete picture of forming the government in Bengal. And in this entire fight, Suvendu's face remained at the forefront. Republic World
According to sources, the legislative party meeting will start at 4 pm at Vishwa Bangla Convention Center in Newtown, Kolkata. All the newly elected MLAs will be present in the meeting.
It is said that the leader of the legislative party will be chosen and the same leader will become the next chief minister of the state. The party is considering this decision very important because BJP is going to form the government for the first time in Bengal. In such a situation, there is no hurry regarding leadership.
The swearing-in ceremony of the new government will be held on Saturday, May 9 at the historic Brigade Parade Ground in Kolkata. BJP is seeing this program to be held at 11 am as a big show of strength.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah and chief ministers and union ministers of many BJP ruled states can attend the program. The special thing is that the same day is the birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore, hence this event is being considered important from both cultural and political points of view.
