Kolkata: West Bengal Governor R.N. Ravi has dismissed the cabinet led by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. With this move, the path has been cleared for the formation of a new BJP-led government in the state. Notably, following the announcement of the West Bengal Assembly election results, TMC Supremo Mamata Banerjee had refused to resign from the post of Chief Minister. Furthermore, she had leveled serious allegations against the Election Commission.
On Thursday, West Bengal Governor R.N. Ravi dismissed the cabinet led by Mamata Banerjee. This step was taken after the outgoing Chief Minister of West Bengal refused to tender her resignation following the results of the Assembly elections.
