New Delhi: The Shri Krishna Janmashtami fast will be observed on Friday, September 4 this year. On this day of the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna, a large number of devotees observe fast and worship Laddu Gopal at night. The fasting person should wake up early in the morning, take bath and wear clean clothes. In Nirjala fast, all types of food and drinks including water are avoided. In this, water is not consumed until the fast is over.
