This vrat is believed to wash away sins and bring blessings from Lord Shri Hari Vishnu. As per tradition, the fast must be observed and concluded (Paran) with proper rituals to get its full benefits. This year, devotees are confused about the exact date, whether the Parivartini Ekadashi fast should be kept on September 2 or September 3.

The Ekadashi Tithi will commence on September 3, 2025, at 3:53 AM and conclude on September 4, 2025, at 4:21 AM. Based on the Udaya Tithi (sunrise calculation), the Parivartini Ekadashi fast is to be observed on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. Importance of Parivartini Ekadashi:

On Parivartini Ekadashi, worship and rituals are performed for Lord Vishnu in his Vamana incarnation and for Goddess Lakshmi. This sacred Ekadashi is popularly referred to as Parshva Ekadashi, Padma Ekadashi, or Jayanti Ekadashi.
