With the debut date set for April 6th, Ather Energy is getting ready to introduce the much-awaited Ather Rizta, a family electric scooter. The company has already begun pre-bookings for the Rizta, with just a minimal amount of ₹999 required, so excitement is building.

Pictures Leaked

Recently, leaked pictures of the new scooter have appeared online, providing a preview of how the Rizta will look when it hits Indian roads. The Rizta, which is expected to leave the 450 series, represents a major change in Ather Energy's design and target market. The Rizta is positioned to appeal to families, whereas the 450 series was designed for the younger generation, who were looking for speed and excitement.

The larger size of the Rizta in comparison to its predecessors is one notable aspect that can be seen in the leaked images. Ather boasts with pride that the Rizta will provide the largest seat in its class, giving passengers plenty of room.

What's New?

Assuming that Ather caters to family-oriented customers, the Rizta will probably come with several additional features. Ample under-seat storage, advanced braking systems like ABS or CBS, and the newest version of the AtherStack, which has Bluetooth connectivity, Over-the-Air (OTA) updates, and integration with Google Maps, are a few examples. An earlier teaser highlighted the durability of the Rizta battery by putting it through a strenuous 40-foot drop test.

CEO Says

In a social media post, CEO Tarun Mehta teased fans by hinting that Rizta prioritizes comfort and safety. He highlighted the countless hours put in by Ather's staff, who have been diligently integrating industry-first features that are expected to improve the riding experience since 2019, into the project. Mehta guaranteed customers that Rizta would continue to provide the same high standards of reliability and quality for which Ather's goods are known.

Eager customers are waiting for further information about the Ather Rizta as excitement for its April 6th launch rises.
