Audi Unveils Fastest-Ever Hybrid Supercar, Hits 200 Km/h In Just 6.8 Seconds

New Delhi: Audi has unveiled its most powerful supercar. The name is Audi Nuvolari. The company claims that this is the most powerful production car in its history. This road running machine has a power of 1001PS and a top speed of more than 350 kilometers per hour. Audi is bringing it in limited edition. Only 499 units will be made worldwide. With hybrid technology, it is being described as a new benchmark of performance and technology.

What makes it so special?

At the heart of the Nuvolari is a 4.0 liter V8 biturbo engine. This alone produces 800 horsepower and 730Nm torque. Three electric motors have been added to it. Two motors are on the front wheels and one is mounted between the engine and gearbox. With the combination of all these, the total power of the car reaches 1001PS. This combo gives it explosive pickup and strong grip on the road.

How fast is this supercar?

According to Audi figures, the Nuvolari accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 2.6 seconds. It takes 6.8 seconds to reach 200 kmph. Its top speed is more than 350 kilometers per hour. That means it will be counted among the fastest cars on the road.

What is special between battery and hybrid systems?
