New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki gave its customers a big surprise. The company has reduced the price of its best-selling mid-size SUV, Maruti Suzuki Victoris, by Rs 38900. However, the cost reduction was only for 4 of its variants. This news was surprising because normally companies do not reduce the cost of their best-selling product. Last month, Victoris was the second best-selling mid-size SUV, only after Scorpio. In that time period, Victoris was bought by more than 10,000 people.
The company has reduced the price of 4 variants of this SUV by Rs 38900. After this reduction, the cost of the ZXi(O) MT variant has reduced from 14.08 lakhs to 13.69 lakhs. The ZXi(O) Plus MT variant has decreased from 15.82 lakhs to 15.43 lakhs, whereas the ZX(O) will be available at 15.25 lakhs rather than 15.64 lakhs. The cost of the top-end variant ZXi(O) Plus AT has reduced from 17.77 lakhs to 17.38 lakhs.
The front of the new generation of Maruti Suzuki Victoris has a bold chrome grille and sleek LED highlights. The muscular bumper and attractive alloy wheels give the car a powerful SUV look on the road. The interior has a very big cabin that is airy. Along with the premium dual-tone dashboard, it has a big 10.25-inch touch-screen infotainment system. For the comfort of passengers, features such as a panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, and ventilated front seats were provided.
The SUV has a lot of features. It has provided its buyers with a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid, 1.5-litre strong-hybrid, and 1.5-litre CNG engine. This Maruti car has the leading mileage in its segment. The regular petrol model gave a mileage of 21.18 per litre easily. The CNG variant can go up to 27 km per litre, while the advanced strong hybrid variant gave a bumper mileage of 28 km per litre.
Maruti has made this car very strong and reliable. The Bharat NCAP crash test gave it a 5-star rating. The company is giving 6 airbags as standard for all of its variants. For safe driving, it has electric stability control (ESC), hill-hold assist, ABAS and EBD. The top model has modern safety features such as Level-2 ADAS technology and a 360-degree parking camera.
Maruti Suzuki Victoris has been priced aggressively in the mid-size segment. The starting ex-showroom price is from 10.50 lakhs to 19.99 lakhs. The on-road price will depend on the city and taxes. Maruti Suzuki Victoris is perfect for families who want a budget-beautiful-looking car with 5-star safety, modern features, and the best mileage in the country.
