New Delhi: The first week of 2026 has already been busy in India’s car world. Automakers announced new prices, added variants, and teased updates to popular SUVs. From the redesigned Kia Seltos hitting showrooms to Hyundai expanding its Venue lineup and Tata hinting at a refreshed Punch, there’s plenty for buyers to watch.
Kia Motors has officially launched the all-new 2026 Kia Seltos in India. The midsize SUV now starts at Rs 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to around Rs 19.99 lakh for the top trims.
The updated Seltos gets three engine options:
Buyers can choose from multiple transmissions, including manual, iMT, IVT, automatic and a seven-speed dual-clutch unit. The new Seltos also brings more tech and comfort features than the outgoing model.

Hyundai Motor India has expanded the Venue SUV range with a new HX5+ variant priced at roughly Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
This trim sits between the standard HX5 and the higher HX6. It adds a few welcome touches over the base HX5, including quad LED headlamps, roof rails, wireless phone charging, and a rear window sunshade.
Hyundai’s refreshed Venue line-up continues with a broad price range starting from about Rs 7.90 lakh for the base models up to around Rs 15.7 lakh for top variants.

Tata Motors has teased the facelifted Punch, expected to launch later this month on January 13.
The teaser images show sharper front styling, a revised grille, and updated headlamps. Inside, the Punch is likely to get a new-look dashboard and a larger touchscreen, though Tata hasn’t confirmed exact details yet.
Mechanically, the facelifted Punch will stick with its proven 1.2-litre petrol engine and will continue to offer both manual and AMT gearboxes. A CNG option is expected to remain on the menu, appealing to value-focused buyers.
