Kia Sonet August Offer: Big Discounts Make This Compact SUV More Attractive (X)
New Delhi: If you are preparing to buy a compact SUV in August, then the current offer on Kia Sonet can be useful for you. Kia India is offering total benefits of up to Rs 45,000 on the MY26 model of Sonet this month. This includes cash discount, corporate benefits and exchange or scrappage benefits. However, not every customer will get the entire amount of Rs 45,000 directly as cash discount, as the offers depend on different terms and conditions.
In the August offer, a cash discount of up to Rs 10,000 is being given on MY26 Sonet. Apart from this, eligible customers can get a corporate offer of up to Rs 15,000. There is also an option to avail additional benefits up to Rs 20,000 through exchange or scrappage. Combining all these benefits, the maximum benefit reaches Rs 45,000.
In case of older MY25 models, the offer is not that big. According to the available information, currently only scrappage offer is being given on MY25 Sonet. Therefore, if a customer is choosing between MY25 and MY26, it would be beneficial to check with the dealer about the stock of both the models and the actual mileage available.
The price of Sonet varies depending on the engine and variant. Prices for the HTE variant in its 1.2-litre petrol manual range start at around Rs 7.34 lakh. The price of models with 1.0-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines goes above this. The price of the top variant reaches around ₹ 14 lakh. The price and availability of different variants may also vary depending on the city.
The Kia Sonet comes with 3 engines:
Both manual and automatic gearboxes are available with them.
A long list of features is available in Sonet. For safety, it has been provided with features like 6 airbags, electronic stability control, front and rear parking sensors, tire pressure monitoring system and 360-degree camera. Level-1 ADAS is also available in some variants. This is the reason why this SUV continues to be a strong option in its segment.
Kia Sonet competes with SUVs like Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger in the Indian market. The August discount has come at a time when companies in the compact SUV segment are offering different offers to attract customers.
