Tata Punch EV Facelift launched at Rs 9.69 lakh: Know What's New in Electric Compact SUV (X)
New Delhi: Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles (TMPV) on Friday launched the new Punch EV at an introductory price of Rs 9.69 lakh (ex-showroom). The model offers a claimed real-world range of around 355 km and a lifetime high-voltage battery warranty for the first owner.
The Tata Punch EV is available in three personas, Smart, Adventure and Empowered, at a starting price of Rs 9.69 lakh (ex-showroom)
Here are the variant-wise price:
At first glance, the TATA Punch EV facelift looks familiar, but small details stand out. The front design gets subtle refinements, giving the car a cleaner and more modern face. The LED lighting elements look sharper, and the overall stance feels more confident without losing the Punch’s compact SUV character.
The design continues to favour practicality over flash, clearly aimed at city drivers who want an EV that looks tough but remains easy to live with.
The new Punch EV also features the option of 65kW DC fast charging, where the battery can be juiced up from 20-80 per cent in 26 minutes, and a range top-up of 135km in 15 minutes. The 30kWh and 40kWh units will be called Medium Range (MR) and Long Range (LR), respectively
The new facelifted Punch EV also offers a new HVAC panel with automatic climate control, illuminated charging status indicator, three drive modes (Eco, City, and Sport), four regen modes controlled via the paddle shifters, dual-tone dashboard and upholstery, new window control buttons, ventilated front seats, voice assisted sunroof, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Safety features available include six airbags, ABD with EBD, ESP, HSA, and i-TPMS.
The new Tata Punch EV offers a redesigned fascia, grey body cladding all around, new LED tail lights, and an LED light bar at the rear.
The revised colour palette now includes Fearless Yellow, Bengal Rouge, Caramel, Empowered Oxide, Pure Grey, Supernova Copper, and Pristine White.
According to the company, it is also offering a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option starting at Rs 6.49 lakh with a battery EMI of Rs 2.6 per km. The BaaS price is applicable to the Smart 30kWh variant, assuming vehicle usage of 60km per day, excluding charging cost, and is available for personal users only.
