New Delhi: Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has launched a new tech package for its popular SUV, the Urban Cruiser Hyryder, designed to provide customers with an enhanced and comfortable in-car experience. This package includes three key features: ambient lighting, a heads-up display (HUD), and a digital video recorder (car dashcam). This tech package is available for all variants of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder at a price of Rs. 29,499 and can be purchased at Toyota dealerships.

What are the features?

The Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder holds a unique position in the mid-size SUV segment due to its robust design, advanced hybrid technology, and excellent mileage. The new tech package combines three exclusive Toyota Genuine Accessories. The ambient lighting provides soft, customizable lighting for the car's interior. The second important feature is the heads-up display, which projects essential information such as speed and navigation directly onto the windshield in the driver's line of sight. The third and very useful feature is the digital video recorder, which continuously records video, ensuring safer journeys.

What is the price?

The Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder has a starting ex-showroom price of Rs. 10.94 lakh and the top variant is priced at Rs. 19.76 lakh. It recently crossed the 2 lakh unit sales mark. In the B-SUV segment, it stands out as a strong hybrid electric vehicle. Its self-charging strong hybrid electric powertrain runs on electric power alone for 40 percent of the distance and 60 percent of the time. This results in an impressive mileage of 27.97 kmpl. It also features a Neo Drive variant with a 1.5-liter petrol engine. It comes in both manual and automatic transmission options and is available in both 2WD and 4WD configurations.
