Toyota is gearing up to expand its Indian SUV lineup with a new 7-seater version of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder and the next-generation Fortuner, both currently undergoing road testing. (Pinterest)
New Delhi: If you're waiting for a new car of toyota the its a great news for the consumers. Beacuse Toyota is launching its new 7 seater car and given the name is "Toyota Urban Cruiser" and "Next Generation Toyota Fortuner". It is expected to launch soon because recently few spy shots came into highlights. For teh time being, these cars are under testing process.
Toyota is preparing to launch for its 7 seater Urban Cruiser Highrider, which will be a family SUV. Test mules of these cars had seen on roads seevral times so it is estimated that the launching will be during the festive season of this year. This can be a second half of th year. In terms of mechanic features, the existing Highrider engines will be offered in these cars.
In this segment, 1.5 litre engine with mid hybrid technology that produced 103 bhp. Alongside, there's also a stronger hybrid setup that produces a total of 116 bhp. In and All wheel drive system, that will be offered.
The estimated prices for this upcoming family SUV are expected to range between Rs. 16 lakh and Rs. 24 lakh (ex-showroom).
This Next Generation Toyota Fortuner is also expected to be release, during the mid of the year. In this car, LED lights, connecetd light bar, redesigned bumper and several advanced technologies will be inbuilt. The estimated price of this car in the range of Rs. 36 lakh to Rs. 55 lakh. At the viewfront, heavy bumper will also be given.
Under the hood, the powertrain options will closely align with the current models, but with a major twist; Toyota is expected to introduce a 48V mild-hybrid diesel engine for better efficiency. The estimated price range for the new Fortuner will sit between Rs. 36 lakh and Rs. 55 lakh.
