Woman Allegedly Sexually Exploited Inside Bihar Hospital X-Ray Room; Viral Video Sparks Probe

Patna: A shameful incident has emerged from Hajipur area of Bihar's Vaishali district. A woman was sexually assaulted by the staff members of the Community Health Center, Rajapakar. A video of the incident is rapidly going viral on social media. The clip has caused panic among health department officials. A district-level team has been formed to investigate the incident.

What is there in the video?

This video is from the X-ray room of the Raja Prakar Community Government Hospital in Hajipur. A woman is being sexually assaulted inside the X-ray room. The video has been rapidly going viral on social media for the past two to three days. According to sources, the video is a few days old and the incident took place inside the hospital's X-ray room, and the perpetrator is a health worker.

What did the victim say?

According to sources, the victim woman is from Rajapakar area who had reached the hospital a few days ago for the treatment of her family member. The doctor had prescribed an X-ray for her and the woman had arrived at the hospital to get her family member's X-ray done. 

The health worker demanded Rs 100 for the X-ray, but the woman was unable to pay the money, due to which this disgusting demand was placed before her. Due to lack of money, the health workers took advantage of the victim woman and even made a video of her.

What did the official say?

Neither the medical officer in charge of the Community Health Center nor the district's civil surgeon are speaking openly about the viral video. Both have stated that the matter has come to their attention and is being investigated. 

Investigation team officer Gudiya Kumari stated that they have come here to investigate on the orders of the civil surgeon. We will submit a written report to the civil surgeon detailing any evidence gathered and any facts that have come to light.
