Gold-Silver Price On August 9: Yellow, White Metal Rates Continue To Fluctuate

Gold-Silver Price On August 9: Yellow, White Metal Rates Continue To Fluctuate (X)

New Delhi: Gold prices keep changing because of the US war against Iran, which makes people worried in markets around the world. Earlier on Thursday, gold prices went up to the highest in seven weeks because lower US Treasury yields made people want to buy safe things. Speaking about the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) gold futures (October 5) started 0.36 per cent or Rs 536 higher at Rs 1,49,029 per 10 grams. Then reached a high of Rs 1,49,700 during the day. That is 0.81 per cent or Rs 1,207 more.

What are the latest prices on MCX?

Also silver futures (September 4) prices showed interest in the early deals. The white metal reached a high of Rs 2,28,397 per kg up 0.35 per cent or Rs 813 from the close of Rs 2,27,584. At the time it was at Rs 2,26,580 down 0.44 per cent or Rs 1,004. In the market COMEX gold was up 0.36 per cent at $4,320 per ounce. COMEX silver was at $62.36 per ounce up 0.12 per cent.

What is the price of silver?

Along with gold, silver prices are also facing huge fluctuations in the market. However, silver prices in the South are a bit expensive compared to the northern cities. The price of a kg of silver in Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Chennai and Kerala is continuing to remain at Rs 2,50,000. At the same time, the price of a kg of silver in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and other northern parts of the country is trading at Rs 2,45,000.
