The prices of Gold and Silver has registered a change on Saturday. According to the markets, 24 carat gold was priced at ₹58,530 per gram this morning, 22-carat gold stood firm at ₹5,853 per gram, while silver has maintained the stability ₹74,800 per kilogram.

Gold prices in India stands at ₹5,853 per gram for 24-carat gold on Saturday.

Notably, India is one of the world’s second-largest gold consumer, surpassing China. The majority of the required amount of gold is supplied by imports and locally recycled domestic bullion. Therefore, in addition to dollar-denominated worldwide pricing, import taxes and other levies also affect domestic gold rates.

The bond yields and the dollar rate can have an impact on the price of the precious metal, gold is viewed as a hedge against inflation.
