Jio Platforms to File DRHP for India's Biggest Ever IPO, Next-Gen Ambanis to Lead (Pinterest)
New Delhi: Mukesh Ambani announced a IPO for Jio, in the 49th AGM of Reliance Industries. According to the market experts, it will be the biggest IPO in the Indian history of of share market.
Mukesh Ambani said in the AGM, "DRHP has been permitted Jio Platforms and it'll be filed today only"
Mukesh Ambani said in the AGM, "The board of Jio Platforms has approved its DRHP, and it will be filed with SEBI today itself. This is a very emotional moment for me, the entire Reliance family, and its millions of shareholders."
He further added that Reliance has a deep and sacred relationship with its shareholders, built on pride, trust, respect, and shared growth. This commitment was deeply personal to Dhirubhai Ambani, and it is equally sacred to Mukesh Ambani.
He spoke about the next generation as well. He told that Akash Ambani, Isha Ambani, and Anant Ambani are leading this IPO.

Akash Ambani, current Infocomm chairman and Jio Platforms Managing Director, addressed that the user base of Jio had crossed 524 million. It strengthened its situation as a India's largest telecom operator. He further added that Jio's 5G subscriber base also reached to 268 million. It is largest user base in 5G segment for any telecom operator in the World, after China.
He also stated the financial status of company and added that the Jio Platforms had collected the revenue of Rs. 1,46,885 crore in Financial Year 2025-26. This is the 14.6 percent of annual increment. The profit generated by the company over Rs. 30,000 crore. In which the 15.1% of growth has been recorded.
As said by the Aakash Ambani, company is also planning to fulfill the target of satellite connectivity.
