On September 22nd, PM Modi reiterated this in a letter to the countrymen. Now, PM Modi's appeal appears to be having an impact. IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has initiated the initiative. Minister Ashwini Vaishnav posted a video on Monday from his social media handle X. He announced his shift to the indigenous platform 'Zoho' for all his digital work. In the video post, Ashwini Vaishnav wrote, "I am now shifting to 'Zoho'. This is our own indigenous platform where documents, spreadsheets, and presentations can be created. I urge everyone to join Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call for Swadeshi and adopt indigenous products and services."

Foreign things mixed into everyday life

During his address to the nation on September 21st, PM Modi emphasized the importance of buying and selling indigenous products. He said that Indian-made products should not be limited to meeting only basic needs, but should also be made our identity, empowering our people. He further stated that foreign goods have become a part of our daily lives. Sometimes it becomes difficult to even understand whether the product we are buying is indigenous or foreign.

Freedom from foreign things

The PM told the people of the country that we must now be free from foreign goods. Everyone should now buy products made in India, which are made with the hard work of our people. The PM said that the country is rapidly developing and becoming self-reliant. If we start buying and selling indigenous products, our country will soon be counted among the developed countries.

PM Modi also emphasized on Swadeshi in the letter

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has written a special letter to his countrymen, congratulating them on the first day of Navratri. In the letter, the PM urged citizens to purchase indigenous products. He stated that when people purchase household items made by artisans and workers, it contributes to their families' livelihoods and youth employment.
