Business News: SpiceJet has increased its flights to Bihar ahead of Chhath Puja and Diwali to make travel easier for passengers. The airline now offers new flights to Patna from Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad, along with extra flights from Delhi and Mumbai. It has also added more flights to Darbhanga with extra flights from Delhi and Mumbai.
According to SpiceJet, these new flights are on top of its existing services to Patna from Delhi, Mumbai, and Guwahati, and to Darbhanga from Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi. The new flights started operating from October 10, 2025, in stages. The schedules have been updated to handle the increase in passengers during the festive season. The airline said these changes give travelers more convenience and flexibility while returning home for the holidays.
SpiceJet also recently started special daily non-stop flights for Diwali connecting Ayodhya with Delhi, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, and Hyderabad. These flights began on October 8, 2025, and help pilgrims and tourists reach the Shri Ram Temple easily during the festive season.
