CBSE Opens Class 12 Re-Evaluation Portal; Aadhaar Authentication Now Compulsory (X)
New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has finally opened the verification of marks and re-evaluation portal of Class 12 board examination results after facing multiple delays. Now, students who have received scanned copies of their answer sheets can apply online for verification and re-evaluation of their marks.
CBSE has also informed students that Aadhaar card verification is required to apply for re-evaluation and mark verification. Therefore, it will be difficult for students to complete the application process without Aadhaar verification. Students will be required to enter all Aadhaar card details to apply for the re-evaluation process.
The board has clarified that this application process will continue until June 6, 2026. Therefore, students who have any doubts about their marks can apply within the stipulated time.
Taking to X, CBSE urged students to carefully watch the instructional video available on the portal before submitting applications.
The board has provided step-by-step guidance on the process of applying for verification of marks and re-evaluation.
"Dearest Students, The verification and re-evaluation portal is now LIVE! Please watch the video carefully for step-by-step instructions on how to apply for Verification of Marks and re-evaluation," the board wrote.

CBSE also shared that if a student does not have an Aadhaar card, they can apply for re-evaluation using the Aadhaar card details of their parent, guardian, or relative. Students should ensure that the name on the Aadhaar card they are using for verification matches the name on the Aadhaar card. Furthermore, the date of birth and gender details must be correct.
