New Delhi: The biggest examination of police constable recruitment in Uttar Pradesh started from Monday. More than 28 lakh boys and girls are appearing in this examination being held simultaneously in 75 districts. The paper will be held in two shifts every day on June 8, 9 and 10. This time the government has clearly said it is okay if there is copying.
The exam is being conducted in two shifts every day.
You will get 2 hours for the paper, plus 5 minutes will be given on top.
1,183 schools and colleges have been made examination centres across UP. There are cameras installed in every room, drones are flying outside.
This time the administration is taking slow steps. Not only is there CCTV, drones, social media is also under surveillance 24 hours. If any rumour spreads, it will be caught immediately.
Police have given an open warning – those who leak the paper, Munnabhai, broker or create ruckus will go straight to jail.
There is three ring security in Kanpur. There are so many police at 54 centers that even a bird cannot be killed. Young men are roaming around even in plain clothes. The one who comes under suspicion will not fare well.
A fair was organised at the bus stand and railway station from 6 in the morning. Long queues outside the centre. Entry was granted only after admit card, ID and search at the gate. Amidst the sun and heat, the children stood in the queue wiping off sweat.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has reduced the fare in roadways buses to half for children going to appear for exams. Show the ticket, pay half the money and reach the centre. This is a big relief for children coming from far away places.
At present everything is going on peacefully. Officials claim that this time both the paper and the result will be clean. Now it has to be seen how much hard work of 28 lakh youths brings results.
