'Dhurandhar 2' Collection: Ranveer Singh's sequel makes Rs 1,365 crore; beats RRR, KGF 2, Dhurandhar 1 record (X)
Mumbai: 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge', which is directed by Aditya Dhar is performing well in India and worldwide. Due the weekend, the Ranveer Singh starrer benefitted, boosting its earning. The spy-thriller on its 11th day has surpassed 'KGF: Chapter 2' in worldwide collections.
'Dhurandhar 2' has so far collected Rs 1,365 crore at the worldwide box office. The film, which released in theaters on March 19, earned over Rs 100 crore on its opening day.
In its first week, the film collected Rs 674.17 crore and on the ninth day, 'Dhurandhar 2' earned Rs 41.75 crore. On the 11th day, it collected Rs 68.10 crore. With this, the film’s total India net collection has soared to Rs 867 crore.
The Aditya Dhar's directorial has beaten its own record of 'Dhurandhar Part 1', which grossed Rs 1,307.35 crore worldwide last year to become the highest earning Indian film of 2025.
'Dhurandhar 2' has also surpassed the lifetime earnings of SS Rajamouli's 'RRR', which grossed Rs 1,230 crore worldwide and Yash's 'KGF: Chapter 2', Rs 1,215 crore gross.
The Aditya Dhar's sequel is now trailing behind the worldwide collection of 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion', which grossed Rs 1,788.06 crore worldwide and Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa 2: The Rule', with Rs 1,742.10 crore gross.
The spy-action thriller, led by Ranveer Singh, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun, drew large crowds in the theatres.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the franchise reveals the origin of Hamza Ali Mazari, aka Jaskirat Singh Rangi, which is played by Ranveer Singh, and also shows the backstory, while explaining the motivation. The film will explain the reason how Jaskirat turned into Hamza and will also reveal who is bade sahab.
