Mumbai: Bollywood Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan is set to tie the knot for the third time with his lady love Gauri Spratt in an intimate ceremony. The actor's wedding celebration is going to take place at his house through a registered marriage.
Aamir Khan's house is decorated beautifully to welcome Gauri officially as his wife.
Gauri and Aamir have known each other for more than 25 years, but then both became busy with their own lives. About a year and a half or two ago, they reconnected and began talking. They were in 18 months relationships before making it official at his 60th birthday celebration.
Gauri is a Bengaluru-based entrepreneur holding an FDA degree in Fashion, Styling and Photography from the University of the Arts, London. She belongs to a family where her mother is Tamilian and her father is Irish.
Gauri has been there for Aamir in his Ups and downs. As per reports, Aamir has stated that 'Gauri brings calm and balance in his life'.
Before Aamir Khan, Gauri was married to someone with whom she shares a son, who now lives with her.
The couple's wedding celebration will be attended by their families, close relatives, and friends. According to reports, approximately 150 guests will be present to experience their big day. The wedding guest list was curated personally by Aamir and Gauri.
Aamir Khan's ex-wives Kiran Rao and Reena Dutt, along with their children Junaid, Iran, and Azad, are going to attend the celebrations.
As per reports, the Ambani family also attended their wedding as their cars were spotted outside Aamir's house.
Aamir and Gauri are not going to have a grand wedding and reception party, as they will only register their marriage under the Special Marriage Act and have a private get-together lunch with the close ones. They want to celebrate their day simply.
The wedding rituals are going to be held in the daytime. The couple has planned to have lunch with the family and guests after the registration. The menu will include the favourite dishes of Aamir and Gauri.
Aamir is divorced twice, making this his third marriage. Aamir's first wife was Reena Dutta from 1986 to 2002. They share two children, Junaid Khan and Ira Khan.
Aamir Khan later married Kiran Rao, with whom he has a son, Azad. Unfortunately, their marriage also faded out with time, and they got divorced. Now, Aamir Khan is set to marry Gauri Spratt and live a journey with her.
