The actress wrote, 'I understand that space is limited in a city like Mumbai. Sometimes you have a view of another person's house from your window. But this does not give anyone the right to film private residences and put those videos online. A video of our house, which is still under construction, has been recorded and published by several publications, without our knowledge or consent.'

He further wrote, 'Making personal photos or videos without someone's permission is not content but a violation. Making videos or taking pictures of someone's private space without permission is not 'content'—it is a violation. This should never be considered normal.'

Everyone Deserves Right To Privacy

In her statement, Alia said that she requests her fans and the media to remove such videos and photos immediately. She also explained how disturbing it is for her, as every person has the right to privacy of their personal life. Alia clearly said that such actions are not acceptable and should be taken seriously.
