Amitabh Bachchan Opens Up About Surgery, ICU Stay; Says It Was His Toughest Phase (X)
Mumbai: Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan on Tuesday opened up about his surgery and hospitalistaion on his blog. In the post, Big B shared about the challenges he faced during his recovery after returning home from hospital.
Amitabh Bachchan recently shared an emotional update about his surgery and hospitalization on his blog. In a late-night blog post, the veteran actor said that the time after being discharged from the hospital was the most difficult phase of his journey so far.
In the post, the actor did not disclose which surgery he underwent, however Big B discussed the physical and emotional aspects of the recovery process and also offered a message of staying strong.

While sharing an update about his health in the blog post, Amitabh Bachchan revealed that after undergoing surgery his toughest battle began only after he was discharged from hospital.
In his latest blog post, Amitabh wrote, "In Hospital in a surgery and in the ICU, under the care of proficient Doctors and medical Staff .. a discharge .. and a homecoming."
The actor did not reveal the reason for his surgery but hinted that he had to stay in the ICU before returning home. "This homecoming period is the most difficult phase .. physically, psychologically and practically," he wrote.
While sharing about the challenges of recovery following a hospitalisation, Amitabh Bachchan said that, "This homecoming period is the most difficult phase .. physically, psychologically and practically."
Amitabh also shared a philosophical point about facing difficulties or defeat in life.
"You are a revered Champion and one day a defeat stares at you... this is the most difficult phase of your life...some brave it.. some succumb .. they that strive and be brave ever remain Champions .. they that do not , get reconciled and live, exist in the past glory .. a choice each makes individually... nothing wrong by either.. be well be happy," he wrote.
Amitabh Bachchan hasn't revealed any further details about his health, fans have flooded social media with messages wishing him a speedy recovery. On the work front, Big B was last seen in 'Kalki 2898 AD: Part 2'. He will next return as the host of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati 18'.
