Mumbai: Legendary playback singer Asha Bhosle passed away on Sunday in Mumbai at the age of 92, marking the end of an era in the Indian music industry. The iconic singer breathed her last at Breach Candy Hospital. The veteran singer was admitted to Mumbai's Hospital on Saturday due to chest infection and respiratory problems. Her funeral will be held on Monday at 4 pm at Shivaji Park and her son Anand Bhosle has urged fans to avoid gathering at the funeral venue.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also arrived at the late singer's residence to pay his last respects. 

The Chief Minister paid his emotional tribute to Asha Bhosle with folded hands and a floral offering.
