Mumbai: Sudip Pandey, the renowned actor and producer in Bhojpuri cinema, passed away early Wednesday morning after a heart attack. A family source said Sudip died around 11 am at his place in Mumbai. The actor who was in his mid-30s had managed to make his mark in Bhojpuri cinema with talent and dedication.
Fans and colleagues reacted with tears on social media, posting a series of emotional messages. A fan posted: "RIP.may your soul rest in peace." Another says, "Gone too soon," which sums the feeling of mass grief. Official statement is awaited from the family as fans and industry mourn over his untimely demise.
In 2007, he started his impressive career with Bhojpuri film Bhojpuriya Bhaiya, which turned him into a sudden star. Some of the hit films of this actor are Pyar Mein, Balwa, and Dharti, in which Sudip Pandey played the bold action scenes, and with a charming performance that made people become his fan club.
In 2019, Sudip extended his acting experience with a role in the Hindi film V for Victor, and recently, he was shooting for the second installment of Paro Patna Wali. The audience is now waiting for the release of this sequel.
