Jawan on OTT: Netflix buys Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbuster film for a whopping amount

The OTT rights of Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee’s blockbuster Jawan have been bought by Netflix for a whopping amount of ₹250 crores. As per reports, Jawan will be available on Netflix between 40-65 days after the movie’s release. However, the exact date is not announced yet.

Jawan has reached the eighth position in the list of Bollywood’s highest-grossing films. Today, it is expected to cross Gadar 2’s ₹670 crores gross and the next target is to cross PK’s ₹831.50 crores.

Directed by Atlee and produced by Gauri Khan under the Red Chillies Entertainment, Jawan was released on September 7, 2023. The lead roles have been played by Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara and actors like Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Deepika Padukone, Ridhi Dogra and Sunil Grover have essayed some of the most vital characters in the film.
