Hombale Films’ first animated venture, Mahavatar Narsimha, has smashed records by crossing ₹100 crore at the global box office just ten days after its release in India.

The studio shared the milestone on Instagram, announcing that the film has earned over ₹105 crore worldwide, making it India’s highest‑grossing animated movie to date. “Roaring past records with divine force. #MahavatarNarsimha crosses 105 CRORES+ GBOC India,” they posted, celebrating the film’s rapid ascent.

A Mythological Universe Begins

Mahavatar Narsimha is the first chapter in a planned seven‑part animated Mahavatar Cinematic Universe, based on the ten avatars of Lord Vishnu. This chapter centers on Lord Narasimha, the avatar who is half‑man, half‑lion.

Strong Reception from All Ages

Directed and written by Ashwin Kumar, the film has struck a chord with audiences of all ages. Viewers have praised it across social media platforms for its storytelling and animation quality.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh reported that the Hindi version alone earned ₹14.70 crore in its first three days, adding another success to Hombale’s growing list of hits.

From KGF to Mahavatar

Hombale Films is already known for its major hits like the KGF franchise, Kantara, and Salaar starring Prabhas. The studio’s next release is Kantara: Chapter 1, scheduled for October.
