Mumbai: Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi's mother, Hemwanti Devi, passed away on 30 October. His mother was 89-year-old and was unwell for sometime, according to a report by Hindustan Times. After her demise, Pankaj Tripathi shared a statement and urged privacy for his family.

As per the reports, Pankaj Tripathi's mother died in the actor's hometown, Belsand, Gopalganj, Bihar. As per the details shared by the family members, she passed away while she was asleep. The actor's mother, Hemwanti Devi's funeral were held on November 1, in Belsand. In her funeral, reportedly friends, close family members, and relatives were present.
