New Delhi: Telugu actor Allu Arjun appeared before the Hyderabad Police in connection with the Sandhya Theatre stampede that occurred on December 4 during the premiere of his film Pushpa 2: The Rule. The tragic incident resulted in the death of a 35-year-old woman, Revathi, and left her young son critically injured.The stampede was reportedly triggered by an unannounced visit from Allu Arjun to the Sandhya Theatre, which led to a large crowd gathering unexpectedly. The theatre management had not made additional security arrangements, and there was no separate entry or exit for the actors team, exacerbating the situation. Reports suggest that Antony and his team ignored police instructions during the premiere, physically pushing officers and blocking their attempts to manage the crowd, which contributed to the stampede.Allu Arjun has expressed deep sorrow over the incident and announced a compensation of ₹25 lakh to the victims family.
