The untimely demise of the "Kanta-Laga" girl, Shefali Jariwlaa has left the nation in shock. The initial reports revealed heart attack to be the cause of death. However, the police are still investigating for other possible causes. While the post-mortem reports are awaited, reports of the actress taking anti-aging treatment have surfaced. The doctor treating her revealed that anti-aging treatments are done to look younger. Anti-aging treatments include a mix of skincare therapies and medicines aimed at reducing the signs of aging like wrinkles, fine lines, and skin sagging.
Shefali has been undergoing treatment for 5-6 years now and she has been taking two medicines for the same. This has raised questions about the possible implications of such medicines on the body, particularly the heart.
Reports suggest that Shefali was using two medicines: Vitamin C and Glutathione, two common supplements used in skin treatments. Vitamin C is known to brighten the skin along with anti-aging properties, while glutathione is an antioxidant used to combat skin pigmentation and improve skin tone. Many fans are now questioning if these medicines could have contributed to the heart attack. However, doctors clarified that these medicines work primarily on the skin and have no connection to heart diseases.
Another important factor that is now being questioned is Shefali's long-standing health history. The actress had been suffering from epilepsy (Seizure) for about 15 years. These could lead to further complications depending upon severity and frequency. However, it remains unclear if it had any role in her sudden passing.
Shefali Jariwala passed away late Friday night. The police got the information around 1:00 a.m. and took her cook and maid for further questioning. They also recorded a statement from her husband, Parag Tyagi. The actress rose to fame with the song Kanta Laga. She later did movies like Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and Hudugaru. She also participated in TV reality show Big Boss.
