Chennai: Dressed in a blue silk saree, south Indian actress Trisha Krishnan attended the swearing-in ceremony of Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) chief Chandrasekar Joseph Vijay at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai on Sunday and had also said that she is "extremely excited" to witness the historic occasion.
Thalapathy Vijay's swearing-in ceremony was attended by numerous celebrities. But everyone's attention was riveted on actress Trisha Krishnan. On Vijay's special day, the actress attended the swearing-in ceremony wearing a blue silk saree paired with a beige embroidered blouse and completed the look with statement jewellery.
The actress paired the saree with a diamond and ruby statement choker and matching earrings. She completed her look with minimal makeup, a small bindi on her forehead, and a gajra in her hair. She looked graceful and beautiful in this look.
Before leaving for the venue from her Chennai home, Trisha expressed her excitement to the media about witnessing this historic moment. Her mother, Uma Krishnan, was also present.
While replying to the importance of the day for Tamil Nadu, she simply said, "Thank you, looking forward."
