Trump, who calls himself a master dealmaker, gave Putin a grand welcome at the Alaska airbase on Friday. Putin also set foot on Western soil for the first time after attacking Ukraine. As soon as Putin's plane landed in Alaska, American soldiers quickly bowed down and started laying the red carpet to welcome Putin. President Trump himself was present on the spot to welcome Putin. As soon as Putin moved towards Trump after getting off the plane, Trump started welcoming him by clapping.
