Meanwhile, the number of US troops in the Middle East has surpassed 50,000—approximately 10,000 more than the usual deployment levels.

According to reports, the arrival of fresh contingents comprising 2,500 Marines and an equal number of sailors has significantly bolstered the US military encirclement of the region.
