International News: Amid the ongoing protests against immigration in the US, President Donald Trump made a sharp statement on Sunday. He gave a clear warning that if any protester spits or attacks security forces or policemen, immediate and strict action will be taken against him.

This statement has come at a time when the Trump administration has deployed 2,000 National Guard troops to keep the situation under control in Los Angeles. The root of the protest is the latest immigration raid by ICE, which has affected many migrant families.

"If they spit... then we respond."

Warning the protesters, Trump said in a public meeting, "Spitting has now become their latest form of political expression." They do not just spit; they do even worse. When someone spits on our police or soldiers, my answer is clear: 'If they spit, we respond.' This will not be tolerated."

This statement of Trump has caused a strong reaction on social media. Many people have described it as an advocacy for strict law and order, while some have called it a provocative and violent statement.

Tear gas, arrests and an atmosphere of fear

On Saturday, when protesters began marching from Mariachi Plaza to the Downtown Immigration Detention Center, the situation went out of control. "Get ICE out of LA” rang through the streets as demonstrators rallied. Without any warning, the National Guard used tear gas and pepper balls, causing a stampede in the entire area. Viral videos on social media clearly show smoke and screams on the streets.

27 protesters arrested, police silent

LA Police detained 27 people from the spot but did not confirm what level of force was used in the action. Police say that the arrested people remained there despite instructions to vacate the restricted area.

Preparation for 'rebellion' or warning?

According to White House strategic advisor Stephen Miller and Vice President J.D. Vance, the protests embodied a clear spirit of rebellion against Trump. He mentioned the Insurrection Act of 1807 (which gives the President the exclusive right to deploy the army) but did not clarify whether he would implement it or not.

Trump indicated, "You have to see if the situation is really like an insurrection. We are monitoring the situation in Los Angeles. What happened last night could have been even worse."

The country on two poles?

Trump's statements and deployment of the army have again divided the political and social environment of America into two parts - on one side there is a demand for law and order, and on the other hand there is concern about civil liberties and human rights. In the coming days, this issue can become the center of politics not only in Los Angeles but in the entire US.
