International News: US President Donald Trump is on an Asia tour for the first time in his current tenure. The visit aims to strengthen investment agreements, peace efforts, and regional cooperation. The most important part of Trump's visit will be a face-to-face meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping, in which both the leaders will discuss reducing trade tensions and improving economic relations.

Before the meeting, Trump said that he could also discuss the purchase of Russian oil with China. “China is drastically reducing purchases of Russian oil, India has almost completely banned it, and we have also imposed sanctions,” he said.

The fentanyl and farmers issue also discussed

Trump said he will also talk about serious issues like protecting the interests of American farmers and fentanyl smuggling. "We're going to talk about fentanyl. It's killing a lot of people, and it comes from China," he said.

“Good chances of a better agreement”

Talking to reporters in Air Force One (the president's special plane), Trump said that he is confident that a better deal can be made with China. He said that the issue of fewer purchases of soybeans by China from America will also be included in the talks. “I want our farmers to be taken care of, and Xi Jinping wants the same,” Trump said.

Meeting with leaders of Qatar

On his way to Malaysia, Trump's plane refueled in Qatar, where he met with Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani. Trump said that in this meeting the progress of security agreements and regional stability in the Gaza area were discussed.
