Tel Aviv: The full story of the attack on Indian pilot Captain Smit Machar on flydubai flight has now come to light. Captain Smit himself explained in detail about that dreadful incident during his conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He said that the Omani co-pilot present in the cockpit suddenly attacked him with a sharp weapon. During the attack, his vision became blurred and he started feeling that the plane was going down rapidly.
Despite the serious circumstances, Captain Smit did not lose courage. Risking his life, he tried to open the cockpit door and ultimately succeeded. After this other people present on the plane took charge of the situation. Because of his bravery, the lives of 176 people on board the plane could be saved.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke to Captain Smit on phone and enquired about his health. During the conversation, he praised the bravery of the Captain and called him a hero of India, Israel and the whole world.

After this he realised that if he did not do anything now, his life and that of the people on board the plane could be in danger. He gathered all his remaining strength and moved towards the door.
Netanyahu asked during the conversation whether Captain Smit had opened the cockpit door by pulling a pin. On this Smit clarified that there was no pin to open the door.
He said that the people present outside had tried to open the door using the code, but the attacker was not allowing it to open. In such a situation, it was necessary for him to reach the door from inside. After reaching the doorknob, he turned it and the door opened.
Benjamin Netanyahu praised Captain Smit's bravery and said that he maintained his composure in extremely difficult circumstances.
